Overall Satisfaction
- The marketing automation piece is the key. This allows a small business owner to reduce overhead while making the customer feel like they are omnipresent.
- E-Commerce - althoug they have significantly upgraded the e-commerce capabilities, if you are running a e-commerce site with thousands of products, you will likely want to use a different e-commerce system and hook it into Infusionsoft using the API.
- My biggest complaint is that compared to my prior experience with Salesforce, Infusionsoft is buggy. I wish they would do a better job of quality control before each new release.
- Reduction in staff cost.
- Savings compared to Salesforce plus the ability to cut other systems we had patched together like e-mail providers, etc.
- Increase in sales.
Product Usage
- As an Infusionsoft Certified Consultant, I can tell you that very few people come close to tapping into the full power of Infusionsoft. Most just use it as a replacement for their contact management and broadcast email system or as a CRM. Pretty much any small business process you can imagine be automated with Infusionsoft.
- Using the API, Infusionsoft can also run the backend of your website.
Evaluation and Selection
My companies all ran on Salesforce for 9+ years. One still does but we are in the middle of migrating it to Infusionsoft as well.
Implementation
- Implemented in-house
Training
- Online training
- In-person training
- Self-taught
It depends. For me it it was easy. However, that said, many people say the product is not that intuitive. I don't think it is any more difficult than Salesforce. What I tell my consulting clients is that it is a trade-off. Yes, there is a learning curve. But that is because it is so powerful and can do so many things.
