Overall Satisfaction

  • The marketing automation piece is the key. This allows a small business owner to reduce overhead while making the customer feel like they are omnipresent.
  • E-Commerce - althoug they have significantly upgraded the e-commerce capabilities, if you are running a e-commerce site with thousands of products, you will likely want to use a different e-commerce system and hook it into Infusionsoft using the API.
  • My biggest complaint is that compared to my prior experience with Salesforce, Infusionsoft is buggy. I wish they would do a better job of quality control before each new release.
  • Reduction in staff cost.
  • Savings compared to Salesforce plus the ability to cut other systems we had patched together like e-mail providers, etc.
  • Increase in sales.
There is absolutely no way I could run my businesses without Infusionsoft. Even with my frequent griping about bugs, because of my ability to automate every business process, it is still hands down the best tool I have to wring money out of my business.

Product Usage

  • As an Infusionsoft Certified Consultant, I can tell you that very few people come close to tapping into the full power of Infusionsoft. Most just use it as a replacement for their contact management and broadcast email system or as a CRM. Pretty much any small business process you can imagine be automated with Infusionsoft.
  • Using the API, Infusionsoft can also run the backend of your website.

Evaluation and Selection

My companies all ran on Salesforce for 9+ years. One still does but we are in the middle of migrating it to Infusionsoft as well.

Implementation

Again, most Infusionsoft users barely scratch the surface of what Infusionsoft can do for their business. The mantra is, if you do something more than three times, automate it. With Infusionsoft, you can do that. If you don't know how, consider investing in the services of a Infusionsoft Certified Consultant who can help you. The ROI will be worth it.

Training

  • Online training
  • In-person training
  • Self-taught
Again, training is something they do really well. They invest a lot of money in training resources and genuinely want to make sure their customers don't leave because they don't know how to use the product.
I think their documentation and training is very, very good.
It depends. For me it it was easy. However, that said, many people say the product is not that intuitive. I don't think it is any more difficult than Salesforce. What I tell my consulting clients is that it is a trade-off. Yes, there is a learning curve. But that is because it is so powerful and can do so many things.

Support

Infusionsoft has made a concerted effort to improve in this area lately. And when you call with a question, or post in the forum, the expertise and response is very good.
