Overall Satisfaction with Intuit Enterprise Suite

Financial Software for over five separate companies and their parent company.

Pros

  • Easy and quick reconciliations
  • Simple bank transaction screen (prior to AI update, I do not use the new screen).
  • Mistakes are easy and quick to fix. They are also easy to catch with QBO.

Cons

  • AI- its pretty much always wrong and not useful for pretty much anyone I know. I view it as a hinderance to my workflow and would prefer it be an option to toggle off and not have to deal with anymore.
  • This software has allowed us (using in tandem with other tools) the ability to get our books up to date and keep them that way- we are now able to see the full financial picture. A very valuable thing when you are handling the finances for a parent company and all the children companies.
Super simple- which I really like. Most things are self explanatory and once you get the hang of it, you're pretty much set.
I have personal experience with both and believe that Intuit is the best option. Microsoft (and most of their products) are riddled with issues and limit productivity. Netsuite has a lot of customization options, but takes a long time to deal with and is much more expensive for the same things.

With my personal experience, as well as the experiences of those in my life with their own jobs, it seems like QBO is the best bang for your buck, and the best software available to help assist with financial things and bookkeeping. It's a lot simpler than any other software I have used, and that allows for a smooth workflow.
