Overall Satisfaction with Intuit Enterprise Suite
We use Intuit Enterprise Suite for:
Daily accounting.
Invoicing, sending out invoices that allow payment quickly.
Accounts Payable with Invoice approval from PM's.
Financials and financial goals.
Budgeting and Forecasting.
We love the changes that have been made towards use for Construction accounting. The engineers are always looking for ways to meet the needs. We have been asked for our thoughts on what is needed.

Pros
- They have the best support. Quickbooks has always had great support but have step it up a level for help with Intuit Enterprise Suite. They are always there to help by phone, chat, appointment. The people we talked know the system and how to help.
- They have been working hard to make this a great accounting system for Construction as they can. They have gone a long ways to help us to have one system instead of numerous different systems.
- Intuit Enterprise Suite makes it easier to have several companies under one roof. We quite often have journal entries to post between two or more of the companies. We can make the entries in one place.
- All in all we have been very happy switching to Intuit Enterprise Suite, so much so that we renewed for three years. We believe in what Intuit is doing with Enterprise Suites and they know how to create a great product.
Cons
- We have combined Quickbooks Payroll and Time systems to our Intuit Enterprise Suite. They work well together. We just have one issues that we have brought to their attention. They have been working on it. We would like to have employees put in their PTO through the workforce application but we need a hierarchical workflow to be able to do this but at this point it is not working.
- As a Construction company we use a CRM that allows us to enter leads, opportunities, and mover them to projects. They have much of this ability, but we need to have a service dispatch system to use with also. We have been able to relay this to the engineers. Our goal is not to have to use an outside CRM. I do believe that this will happen at some point.
- Intuit Enterprise Suite has helped the accounting department get a better handle on the execution of the daily bookkeeping and reports to be much better. We were struggling through a hard time do to changes in the employees in the accounting department. Having Intuit Enterprise Suite and understanding it better has improved our processes to make us a more cohesive department.
- Intuit Enterprise Suite has helped with project management. We had another accounting software that was hard to understand. We have made this system work for us and helped to keep better track of the projects.
- Foundation
Intuit Enterprise Suite is more user friendly and easier to learn than Foundation. I have used some from of Quickbooks all through my life. I have found it better, switching to Intuit Enterprise Suite has even been better. They have been there to help me get much better at my position then I have ever been. Foundation is just to complicated and hard to learn.
