Overall Satisfaction with Klipfolio

We used Klipfolio to create dashboards and visualizations over the marketing campaign data that we get from from Google Analytics. It was easy to use, intuitive and we were able to create good-looking dashboard in a short span of time and the business users are happy with the dashboard and the decision to go with Klipfolio.

Pros

  • The UI is excellent and loved by C level executives
  • Data Integration from many sources
  • Detailed Documentation and good support

Cons

  • Dashboard Customizations to suit the needs of business users
  • Limited API settings
  • Development time could be better since some features which are available out of the box in other tools needs time and effort to replicate here
  • It provided the best value for the cost and the team is considering migration to Klipfolio from other BI tools.
  • The support team in Klipfolio is excellent and it justifies the cost
  • We were able to complete the development within the planned time especially since the data pull from Google Analytics is simple and time saving.

Klip Editor is easy for new business users to play with and explore the data with minimal training. But to get the best out of it, the developers have to learn a lot with a steep learning curve but it is worth the effort at the end of the day.
Have no complaints regarding the support. In the initial phase, what we thought was a bug was explained by the support team what we were doing wrong and it is resolved quickly. Gradually we learnt so much about the tool and the documentation available is very helpful for developers who want to make the full use of all the features available in Klipfolio.
It is simple and easy to connect to data and create dashboards which look good. Do not recommend for scenarios where high customizations are required. There is a steep learning curve but once you get around the initial learning phase, you can get the most out of it. Mobile app support is good and we plan to develop more dashboards using Klipfolio in future.
