Overall Satisfaction with Klipfolio

We use Klipfolio for creating visual metrics for presentations and visualizations for sales consulting. We often use the program to show off number-heavy and dry data in more colorful and interesting presentations. Coworkers and clients are both captivated with the graphics and it is easier to keep their attention. Large numbers can often get lost and the visuals help a ton to understand the scale of things.
  • Visuals
  • Easy to use
  • Intuitive setup
  • Easy to use, hard to master
  • I think the UI is well done but organizing the tabs and settings could help
  • Importing additional types of data would save a ton of time. The click-and-drag function is the best.
  • Display more than one line or bar on the same chart
  • More interesting report meetings
  • Low time allocated to presentation
Not quite as close but a lot of the data one uses goes to Klipfolio. It would be great if they were to connected more seamlessly. Sometimes using the data in Google Sheets and Google Slides is the easiest option, despite corporate wanting us to use the program more.

Do you think Klipfolio delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Klipfolio's feature set?

Yes

Did Klipfolio live up to sales and marketing promises?

No

Did implementation of Klipfolio go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Klipfolio again?

Yes

It is really easy to get started with the program but it can be hard to master. After figuring out the UI, it is easy to become comfortable with what you can do with the software without having actually done the specific thing before. It would be great to have additional chart choices and customizability.
Ultimately, a lot of tasks can be done more quickly and easily with something free like Google Sheets or Slides. Most of the data is already on those types of formats and sites and requires little to no software learning or program downloading. Klipfolio works best for large, data-heavy presentations and for special meetings rather than weekly touch-ups.
I would really only advise people to use this if they are using lots of numbers or data and have to present that data to a client, coworkers, or higher-ups. Graphics are interesting enough but creating an easier and less data-intensive program would help me recommend to others. Otherwise using something like Google Charts or Google Analytics would work better in most cases.
