Overall Satisfaction with KnowBe4 PhishER

We use KnowBe4 PhishER to make more effective use of our user's self-identification of phishing emails. We are able to automatically quarantine and easily block these messages as well as remove them from other users' mailboxes. This has greatly reduced the risk these emails pose for us.

Pros

  • Block malicious URLs, attachments, and senders
  • "Rip" additional similar emails from other users' mailboxes
  • Connect with our email provider's blocklist and quarantine

Cons

  • Allow for unlimited blocklist durations
  • Allowed us to be extremely effective with a small IT team
As a small IT team, we are handling everything technology-related, so having a tool like KnowBe4 PhishER has been like having a dedicated email security analyst on our team.
KnowBe4 PhishML, KnowBe4 PhishRIP, KnowBe4 PhishER Blocklist
Using a separate tool for identification and response/prevention can cause headaches. KnowBe4 PhishER's integrations with Microsoft 365 have made it seem as if they are the same system.
I don't know if any other products that do these functions.

PhishER is a fabulous addition to our security suite. It integrates very well with Microsoft 365 and uses KnowBe4's Phish Alert Button for a simple mechanism for users to report suspicious emails. With a multitude of actions that can be taken to block, remove from other users' mailboxes, and classify suspicious emails, KnowBe4 has become a vital part of our security strategy.
