Overall Satisfaction with KnowBe4 PhishER/PhishER Plus

We are a medium size company of just over 300 employees. We require all users to go through an initial training program when they are hired and pass all the tests. We also have quarterly phishing tests for employees and we have the phish alert button added to all users email programs so they can submit suspected phishing emails for review. This has been a very successful transition and we have been very happy with it.

It has eliminated calls, emails, and / or help desk tickets from users inquiring on suspicious emails. The capability of PhishER to scan and determine if an email is a phishing email has reduced the time our IT department has to spend on reviewing and responding to these email issues. The ability to automatically remove duplicates is also extremely helpful when many users get the same email.
We have the PhishER, PhishRIP and PhishER Blocklist in place and this has been a very successful implementation and process for our organization. Our employees have learned a lot and continue to get better at reporting issues, which helps the entire organization. The setup is easy and some we can modify as needed.
We have seen improved understanding of the importance of phishing attempts and how that impacts our organization. We have seen a decreased number of phone calls, emails or help desk tickets because of implementing KnowBe4 trainings and the PhishER platform.
The PhishER program works well in identifying phishing emails and blocking them. If it is unsure of emails based on the rules/actions we have in place it leaves the email in the PhishER inbox and we can manually review the email to determine if it is clean, spam or a threat. If determined a threat it gets added to the blocklist and will be blocked if any future emails are submitted.

Cisco Duo, Webroot Antivirus + Internet Security Complete (SecureAnywhere), Sentinel
it works really good for scanning emails and marking them as phishing emails, clean emails, or spam emails based on rules / actions and previous scanned emails and the rules / actions we have built. We have this linked with Microsoft 365, so it also updates Microsoft with bad email addresses so in the future they are blocked before they even get to the user.

Configuring KnowBe4 PhishER/PhishER Plus

This was very configurable and easy to do with Customer Success Manager assistance.
Make sure you work with your Customer Success Manager and ask questions as you implement the software. Use KnowBe4's documentation to assist with any setups as it is user friendly.
Some - we have done small customizations to the interface - Very minor changes, but adding logos and links back to Microsoft and other products.
No - we have not done any custom code
