Overall Satisfaction with Kofax Power PDF
Allows me to apply my signature and custom stamps to pdf documents as well as much more convenient for virtually any pdf editing.
- It is very good at pdf editing. The type feature is extremely handy.
- The OCR is much better than any competitive products I have tried.
- The interface could be more intuitive. For example, it took me a while to find signatures under "security" and how to change the default. On the other hand I am now familiar with the interface and prefer less change.
- The help is ok, but could be improved.
- The licensing could be more liberal. I have three computers I work from regularly, office, home and laptop, and find the two registrations restrictive. Perhaps a reduced price on a third or additional would help.
- Makes doing many tasks easier.
The basic features are very easy to use. Some of the more advanced features can be a bit tricky the first time, but not unreasonably. I benefit from being able to accomplish simple tasks without the prohibitive costs associated with Adobe.
Acrobat, however the cost was prohibitive.
