Overall Satisfaction with Kofax Power PDF (formerly Nuance)
I am currently the sole user of the software and was using the previous Nuance version. I generally use this as my default pdf reader and printer, to make documents easier to email and I use the form function to create pdf fillable documents so they can be used but not changed by people filling them out. I have also used the converter function to make changes to document I only have in pdf form so I don't have to recreate the document.
- Form creator.
- Creating pdf files with ability to combine several documents to one pdf.
- Convertor to change existing pdf file back to Word or Excel.
- Makes documents easier to email in pdf form.
- Customer support needs improvement.
- Convertor function in Excel loses formatting on some documents.
- For a security purpose, being able to create pdf forms that can be filled by field personnel without worrying about the document being changed is a big help.
- Consolidation of multiple file types into one document that can be shared as a single file makes project management easier.
I find it very easy to use and easy to set up.
I know there are other products, such as Adobe, but I bought the Nuance version based on price at the time and haven't had a reason to change or look at other products.
