Overall Satisfaction with Kofax Power PDF (formerly Nuance)
Kofax is used across the whole organisation, mainly when compiling reports into a pdf. Also used to edit existing pdfs without having to go through the faff of changing the file type. We do not use it for much more than that as there is no particular need for it really.
- Compile pdfs.
- Allows you to edit pdfs.
- Allows you to open pdfs.
- Can split a large pdf into separate files if file size is too large and picture quality is lost too much when compressing.
- Organising the order of pdf files you want compiled into one. A visual click and drag would be so much easier.
- Sometimes changes letters into odd symbols/makes them bold when you convert from pdf into word and back. It's not very good at doing that.
- Reduces time spent editing pdfs.
- Was a better long term investment than an annual Adobe subscription.
It is user friendly apart from selecting which order you want the pdfs compiled in. I think overall it is a pretty user friendly experience.
