Overall Satisfaction with Kofax Power PDF (formerly Nuance)

I use it as a Special Education Admirative Assistant. It easily converts evaluation PDF's into a Word document.

I found that Kofax Power PDF was very easy to use. My experience with this product has been very good, I am able to do my job easier and it made me more proficient at my job because of Kofax Power PDF. I would definitely recommend this product to everyone.
Adobe was not easy to use. It would not convert my PDF's correctly. I was very frustrated with the product. Kofax was recommended to my by another co-worker and it has been a game changer. I did not use Adobe long but I am confident in saying that I would not use or recommend that product to anyone.
I have not needed to use the customer service yet so I can not yet say anything about that. But I will say that the buying process and installing process was easy to do.

The converting feature is what I bought it for and it has not let me down. Kofax Power PDF converts my files quickly and accurately. I has proven valuable to my everyday needs and has made my job less stressful.
It is well suited for what I have to do. I receive may evaluations that are a PDF and we need to copy the report into an IEP. By using Kofax we are able to convert the PDF into a Word document and copy and paste the pieces of the report that we need for the IEP.

2 - The Special Education Secretary and a the Special Education Director use the product. The product is very easy to use and requires not special training.
