Overall Satisfaction with Lead Forensics

We have been using Lead Forensics since some months, now, and we are fully satisfied by its offer. You can follow the visitors of your website, understand where do they come from and define a follow-up strategy to focus on those who have been more active.

When your portfolio is very differentiated, Lead Forensics helps you understand which is the product the visitor is mostly interested with, how much time did the visitor pass on a special page and if a datasheet file has been downloaded.

Moreover, you can use some sales tactics to understand if an email you sent has been fruitful: when anybody from the organization of the recipient follows a link you have inserted in your email, you know it and you also know you have a potential customer.

Last but not least, this is a complex software and its potential is not immediate to everybody. You have to understand it to use it at its best. Therefore, you have support from a dedicated technician and you have access to a forum where you can read further instructions as well as some success stories and communicate with other LF technicians and other customers.

Pros

  • Lead Forensics tells you who visited a specific website page.
  • Lead Forensics sends you periodic reports that can help you define a sales strategy.
  • Lead Forensics gives you access to its internal CRM so that you can define a sales tactic on a specific lead.
  • Lead Forensics helps you find the right contact in a specific organization and - if present - will give you access to the email address and the phone number.

Cons

  • The menu could be improved, maybe by giving the chance of a "basic" and an "expert" menu.
  • The instructions are good and exhaustive but they might be improved.
  • The most difficult part of Lead Forensics is how some colleagues will use it and - should they not understand - they won't. There should be a way to interest even the less technological colleagues that this tool is for their best.
  • Still catching up, but I know it has already been re-paid by new sales margin.

Lead Forensics is great when you have a very differentiated portfolio with different kind of customers and you have small to medium company to target. You know someone visited and you have full comprehension of whom could it be.

It's use is less appropriate when you have to focus only on huge companies where it's up to your sensibility, experience and competence in defining the task of your target and get to understand the name in a plethora of contacts.
