Overall Satisfaction with Linode
We are using Linode instances for micro-service deployment with and without Kubernetes. We are focused on Java tech stack (especially spring boot solutions) and we found that Linode is providing the best services for reasonable costs. The great thing is the possibility of using microk8s as a single node cluster, as well as other options.

- Fast ping times
- Ubuntu images
- Great flexibility for Linux based solutions.
Cons
- Nothing that affects our business.
- Predictive costs
We have used Kubernetes as a single cluster. It works really well, and it is very good for dev, test, and preproduction environments. With minor DevOps it can be easily prepared for production. In short, it reduced time from development to production.
