Overall Satisfaction with Linode

We're using Linode servers in our company for different projects, sometimes to empower web servers and some other times to process tons of information.
I'm glad to say that our infrastructure very stable and scalable, I usually run scripts [which take] more than 24 hours and they run [uninterrupted.]

Pros

  • The Linode UI is easy to understand.
  • Linode VPS are very easy to maintain.
  • They payment information is most clear than other VPS companies.

Cons

  • Service similar to AWS RDS.
  • Service similar to AWS SES
  • Lambda scripts (serverless scripts)
  • Easy to manage
  • Easy to maintain
  • Easy to calculate costs
I used a lot of different services, a lot of services inside Amazon AWS and Digital ocean, but I found at Linode a different way to do all what I need, without having to be worried about weird costs calculations and other things like that.
I only used Linode support one time... and they answered me very quick, I have only good words for the support team :)
AWS Lambda, Amazon Simple Email Service, Amazon Simple Notification Service (SNS), Amazon Relational Database Service (RDS)
As I saw in the 5 years I was working with Linode, I do not [see] any problems that I could not resolve using Linode services.
But maybe you can think on include a service to allow companies to send emails, SMS, and it would be very very good to have a way to run lambda scripts in different languages, lambda scripts are serverless script that you can access through an endpoint.
