Overall Satisfaction with Liquibase

Liquibase is used for automating DB deployment with the use of CICD pipelines seamlessly. The non-intervene of human factor has helped in reducing errors tremendously. Database administration is made easy and reliable. The features like rollback scenarios and support for multi-DB are more user-friendly and hence increasing overall productivity. Automating the execution has made the deployment faster and with negligible errors.

Whenever a tool is pitched for database administration, one the most important aspect considered is security, and Liquibase has peaked in that department. It has made deployments faster using automation which has reduced the human intervention significantly hence reducing errors. The ease of process or procedure is what an end user expects and this tool has made the process user friendly and effective.
Initially the support was very informative and the onboarding process was without hindrance. But when we needed help from support while using the tool, the response was not fast and less informative on how to get past the issue, and this held up more downtime. This was not the case every time, but a little improvement on this aspect would be appreciated.

Liquibase has made easier to keep track of changes so that any of the team member can understand what has been done and to what extent, this helps in less downtime and errors can be easily recognized and corrected. The rollback feature has made life so easier and team productivity has improved significantly. Forecasting and reporting features are user-friendly. Have not come across any scenarios where I found Liquibase to be less appropriate, will report in future if any.
