Overall Satisfaction with Lucidchart

As I stated before, I love the "cheat" functions that have been created. Hovering over an object helps with understand appropriate shapes to use. Drag and drop feature makes building the flow chart easy. However, changing the size or moving the shapes around after its been created is a bit of a chore. Also, changing the font to meet the size of the flow chart and/or shapes also takes some work.
We currently use Lucidchart in our startup environment to visualize processes and the movement of people/customers through the process. Several departments are using Lucidchart to define functions and process. I use it as a departmental and enterprise solution. We are addressing organizational structure, product process development, customer flow, business strategy, marketing development, sales process, and more.
  • Templates are outlined well, with appropriate instruction of utilization.
  • Since I'm not an engineer, I appreciate the highlight of shape usage.
  • The array of solutions provided allows us to address a full range of needs.
  • The linage and arrows are not defined as well as the shapes. Why would one use dotted line versus a solid one.
  • It is not easy to toggle back to the different arrows once you have made a change.
  • Defining font size is a bit of a problem. Once defined it does not stick for each shape.
  • Saved time
  • Allowed collobration
  • Created transparency
We have not utilized integration with any of the above. Additionally we do not utilize most of the collaboration tools listed above.
I have not used support for Lucidchart for a call or chat. However, I am happy with the knowledge tools used in the platform. The training is easy to use and thorough enough to answer all questions. Charts I have not used before are easy to learn from the videos uploaded on youtube.

Lucidchart is excellent for process flow and organizational charts. There are plenty of templates to meet several scenarios. The brainstorming template allows for a nice option to handle several teams to brainstorm online with the shared document. The collaboration within the document is easy to use. I appreciate the document has a wide variety of human resource tools for organization of people. It is mostly flexible, however, there could be a little improvement to make it a 10.
