Overall Satisfaction with Lucidchart

I am not totally familiar with this tool, I have been using Microsoft Visio. The designer is similar, I mean the disposal of windows and etc. But I was creating some documents and with tooltips in the help menu, that was easy.
I cannot guarantee if they are using in other departments, but in the department where I am working, they are using flowcharts. For the mapping process, practically all of them. Basically, we are describing our current state (BPM or Process) and how should be the future state of all processes that we have.

Pros

  • SalesForce and Slack integration
  • Several templates
  • I like to work in browsers. No installation was required.

Cons

  • Microsoft Visio sounds like has more shapes from IT (Database or Network)
  • Actually, I don't have anything more in mind right now, maybe the report bug could be used to suggest some improvement.
  • Better understanding of what we want.
  • Good visualization of our organogram.
It is one thing that I cannot help. I didn't use the support yet, maybe in the future, I can give appropriate feedback here. But on the other side, it is good because I didn't see a bug or I haven't needed the support.

Yes

I like the Microsoft Products, they are very integrated, good interface, easy to work with, but it is boring to install, and when we are working unexpectedly everything closes. I can see advantages here in Lucidchart. But for database and network diagrams I can see more shapes on Microsoft Visio. I've also used TOTVS Fluig ... that was good because I could see charts on that and develop the workflow integrating with their products.
To create a flow chart is very good and we are able to visualize the current and future state. I have used other tools that we can create a flowchart and also develop a workflow with the same tool, maybe this could be another feature for Lucidchart.
