Overall Satisfaction with Lucidspark

Lucidspark is utilized to map cross-function information/data/process flows to ensure our processes are correctly aligned with customer expectations. In addition, it allows transparency to proactively identify potential failings in the process. Sharing our comments in real-time has allowed the team to communicate between scheduled meetings.

I was an avid user of the Microsoft suite including Microsoft Visio. After trying Lucidspark, its connectivity and ease of use outshine Visio. The intuitive interface allowed the team to quickly understand and start making impactful changes to the project process faster increasing our velocity to customer delivery. Enabling a more agile business has been beneficial to the team.
With the onset of the pandemic, we were all forced to increase and improve our level of virtual communications. Currently, we use Slack for all of our daily communications and Google Drive for multiple functions. The integration of Lucidspark into these was critical to the adoption by the workforce. A closed system doesn't allow us to grow faster.
In terms of quality and reliability, I have not experienced any outages or latency in the performance of Lucidspark. The updates that the team makes are in real-time. Before the pandemic, a brainstorming session required multiple people to travel from out of town and a conference room. Using Lucidspark saves them time and money.
I am very supportive of using Lucidspark as a virtual whiteboard and a project management tool. I am planning to use Lucidspark at my next virtual Kaizen event in place of multiple other means of sharing communication. The more everyone becomes familiar with Lucidspark, the faster collaboration happens. The faster the collaboration, the faster the results.

Lucidspark is a great tool when there is a need to display a particular process. There are multiple ways templates Lucidspark provides that help in process design including swim lanes, value stream mapping, and materials and information flows. I can also see Lucidspark being used for product development to speed up the timeline by allowing real-time edits.
