Overall Satisfaction with Lucidchart

I came from using Microsoft Visio and was able to pick up Lucidchart within a day and be an effective user.
We currently use Lucidchart across the entire organization for the following purposes to help solve problems related to headcount, capacity, best practices, efficiency, and effectiveness:
- Current state process mapping.
- Future state process mapping.
- System design.
- Org structures.
- Reporting requirements.
  • Easy to use to process mapping.
  • Easy to use to design potential product solutions as an easy method to communicate with engineering.
  • Easy to use to create org charts.
  • The ability to link documents, web pages, etc., is extremely useful and helpful.
  • Provide the ability to equidistance shapes without thinking about it and having to do it manually.
  • Provide easier ability to align shapes and arrows at center naturally.
  • Improved productivity.
  • Improved partnership between business process and product and engineering.
  • Reduced costs spent on development because the solution provided an easier understanding of the problem or potential solution.
We are able to link flows to our intranet as well as our standard operating procedures to provide quick access to additional details. It's very helpful and useful.
I cannot rate it as I have not had any reason yet to use it but I do feel that there is a great support network and community there based on the communications I receive.

I wasn't involved in the selection process but I do think Microsoft Office offers a great product.
Well suited for everything previously mentioned: document current state processes and workflows, create future state workflows, org charts, design flows for product solutions, reporting requirements, visualizations, etc.
