Overall Satisfaction

  • Distributing an eblast is rather simple and quick through Lyris LM. My favorite feature is the ability to create eblast content outside of Lyris, have it uploaded into the system, then tested and distributed.
  • The reporting offered in our version of Lyris LM is very weak. The system does not seem to capture CTR (click through rates) anymore. The final report tells me little to nothing about the success of the distributed eblast. The dashboards available when logging in are blank for the most part.
  • The ability to distribute eblasts to over 20,000 users quickly and easily.
We will most likely not use Lyris LM for much longer. We have recently been offered to utilize a different software that better meets our needs, is current, user friendly, and has fantastic reporting capabilities.
Lyris LM is not a bad software, it just does not meet our needs anymore. Because we are unable to renew to a current version of Lyris for budget reasons, I have begun the process of looking into use of a new software already utilized by other departments in our office.

Evaluation and Selection

Our company began using Lyris LM for eblasts and mass mailings prior to my employment. To my knowledge, they were not utilizing a mass mailing system prior to Lyris.
I have begun evaluating other systems. Our version of Lyris is outdated and not providing the marketing results I need day-to-day. I have had the opportunity to trial run SubscriberMail, which has been fantastic.


I was not part of the implementation process.


I would not recommend this approach to others. Self-training was very difficult. Fortunately, I had a user guide to follow which assisted me significantly. It is important to fully understand the software prior to distributing an eblast.


I have not needed to utilize customer support during my use of Lyris LM.
