Overall Satisfaction with Malwarebytes
Malwarebytes helps with protection from viruses immensely. It will detect real time threats and also gives you an option to do a quick scan or full scan. The quick scan is great if you just want to do a quick check up to make sure there's nothing bad on your computer. The full scan is great is you have more time and really want to do a 'deep cleaning' of all the files on your computer. In addition, the program is great at blocking webpages you might click on that can potentially give you a virus.

Malwarebytes is so much less intrusive than other antivirus softwares. in addition, I've found that almost all other anti virus softwares have so many popups and slow down your computers so much because of all the computing power they suck up. Malwarebytes doesn't do this which is great. In addition, if you did want to uninstall Malwarebytes it's incredibly easy, whereas with other antivirus softwares even after you uninstall them they don't actually fully uninstall and still will pop up on your computer.
Evaluating Malwarebytes and Competitors
Yes - As mentioned, it's way less intrusive and and super effective compared to other antivirus programs. In addition, it doesn't slow down your computers like most other programs do. Also, most other antivirus programs are installed automatically on your computer when you get them and it's nearly impossible to uninstall them.

Most important factor was effectiveness and how intrusive it was. I installed it initially because I had malware on my computer that was very difficult to remove, but I didn't want a software like McAfee that slows down your computer and has a bunch of popups. I researched online and found out about Malwarebytes, after reading lots of positive reviews and finding out that it was free, I decided to download it and it removed the malware I had on my computer in a timely and effective manner.
I wouldn't change anything about the process, I've been using Malwarebytes as my virus protection for over 8 years now and I have no complaints. The software is fast, easy, and effective to use and I'd recommend it to anyone who asked me what a good virus removing tool is.
