We utilize the bi-direction sync with SFDC and the sales team heavily relies on the sales insight and Outlook Add-in features. I think folks should carefully examine automation systems and find the best fit for their needs. Given that, I do think Marketo can meet most needs and then leave room for growth as well. I think Marketo is a no-brainer if you are looking for housing a database that you'd like to nurture, score and flow through a lifecycle.
