Overall Satisfaction with Marketo
We use Marketo with SFDC for lead tracking and basic lead nurturing. Marketo is used by our Marketing Department only. We have invested significantly in capturing leads through external events and use Marketo to nurture them through our sales process.
- Tracks activities associated with our campaigns - opens, CTAs, etc.
- Has good terms/definitions integration with SFDC, but could be much tighter. Use more common language.
- I anticipate faster lead conversion, but we're just getting started with the tool.
- I also anticipate increased employee efficiency since integrating Marketo with SFDC will create "one version of the truth" regarding our customers and potential customers.
We used Oracle Siebel CRM at HP before we switched to SFDC and Eloqua (before it was acquired by Oracle). Siebel was cumbersome and not cloud-based so difficult to access when not at the office. Both SFDC and Eloqua were cloud-based so a BIG improvement. Eloqua was a very difficult but comprehensive marketing automation tool. I liked their ability to show campaigns in a flow chart manner (I'm an engineer so I love flow charts). Marketo seems to just provide lists and icons.
