Overall Satisfaction with Marketo
We are using the platform for our Email Channel. It is able to deploy marketing and transactional emails.
- The platform deploys emails within the day.
- Emails can take a few hours to fully deploy.
- Customer service is difficult to get a hold of.
- A more user friendly platform. The platform is not easy to figure out. There is 2 full days of training offered to get users up to speed but comes at a cost. It would be nice to see easy drag and drop features for segmentation, easy uploading ability for sends and the ability to take out the approval process all together being it is an extra step to do.
- Quick deployment of sends: the platform currently can take up to 6 hours to full deploy an email. Most of the time it’s within 3 hours but I have seen up to 6. Unless you do the "head start" option 13 hours ahead you are out of luck. We would ideally like the platform to push all emails out within minutes like most other ESP's.
- Account Management Support: would love to have an account manager that is knowledgable about the platform and be able to answer system level questions like how to segment a list or where to upload. The current process requires you to be put into a queue to get your question answered by a technical person.
I have not been able to achieve them due to limited customer service support.
I personally did not select Marketo. It was selected by a person before my time.
