We use Marketo as our marketing automation tool for sending emails to prospects and customers, as well as integrate it with SalesForce and create campaigns and landing pages.

Marketo does a great job helping our company understand how we have been able to attract, nurture and engage prospects and customers.
I've used Aprimo at a previous company for our marketing automation needs (a pretty reputable company at that), and Marketo blows it out of the water in every category.
It is great for smaller B2B companies.
