Overall Satisfaction with Marketo

Marketo is used within our Sales and Marketing Departments. We primarily use them for setting up content, email promotions, landing pages, and engagement programs. Marketo helps us automate our marketing activities and house our lead database.
  • Analytics and Reporting - robust information and customizable to exactly what you need
  • Email Builder - would be valuable to be able to switch between different templates
  • Landing page and email templates are not robust enough and don't allow for enough customization
As mentioned earlier, Infusionsoft would be recommended only for smaller organizations. The robustness of Marketo doesn't compare to Infusionsoft.
Marketo is well suited for an organization that has a sizeable marketing department that has a lot of activities happening (e.g. trade shows and events, content, engagement program, etc.). Where it would be less appropriate is for a small company (at that point, something like Infusionsoft would be sufficient enough to fulfill their needs).
