Overall Satisfaction with Marketo

It is being used across the entire organization, so multiple branches spread across the globe all use it. It is used as our marketing CRM, and email tool.
  • They have great data and metrics. They are able to pull amazing numbers on the fly of our emails and CTRs, our forms and our lists.
  • The smart lists are amazing and all the people they integrate with really help us keep creating better and better smart lists. Our ability to drill down and create campaigns around various filters on these list has been crucial.
  • I would say training, we have paid for the certification courses and it was a game changer!
  • Making the tool more user-friendly/intuitive.
  • Making the training free/certification free like HubSpot would have had a better impact and sped up our purchasing decision.
  • Just make it look nicer, it's very outdated and hard to navigate at times
  • It can crash a lot, we have had numerous tickets open every month and when marketo doesn't work it affects every area of our business and I remember it breaking more than i remember it running smoothly.

It is always to increase more leads with better quality. We use marketo to have smarter lists and create lead nurturing campaigns to better facilitate those needs. We also use it heavily for our outbound campaigns as well.
To be honest HubSpot was much easier to use right off the bat and had free training, however marketo (once learned) has so much more under the hood. More power, more abilities and once you learn it, it changes everything .
You would have to be able to pick up new, complicated technology quickly; stay up to date on training and certifications. It is not an easy tool to use.
