Overall Satisfaction with Marketo
Marketo is being leveraged by Marketing, Sales (via Sales Insights), Product Marketing and Customer Care. Each branch leverages Marketo in a different way but the analytics and conversations all are unified. It is the hub for all communications to our prospects and customers. It's one of the best types of tools a company can invest in, in my opinion, it's crucial to every marketing team.
- Advanced Email Marketing at scale to support the many functions of a business (not only Marketing).
- The workflows and database is something that can scale with growth and be as easy or advanced as you would like it to be.
- It has several launchpoint partners, so integrating many other marketing tech is very straightforward.
- Their out of box reporting isn't fantastic. You either need to purchase the add-on for RCE or leverages your CRM reporting.
- The UI is dated.
- The system does have slow processing times, which becomes a little annoying when your trying to get a campaign or workflow completed.

Eloqua, Pardot and Hubspot are direct competitors. Each of them have particular strengths depending on the business needs, team owning it, and price points. They all generally do the same thing, but some UIs and functionality without add-ons are what it comes down to.
