Overall Satisfaction with Marketo

We use Marketo for our B2B email and automation/tracking. It's the hub of our marketing database.
  • Marketing database at scale, few other systems can accomplish as much as Marketo can
  • Flexible and fairly intuitive workspace, organize it as you wish
  • Tons of features and functionality that you only get to once you've read all the champion's blogs and community posts.
  • UI so slow to get product releases
  • Reports, smart lists, and more can take so long to run they are useless
  • Lots of batch type functionality is not possible
  • Product Launches
  • Lead Management
  • Prospecting / New Business
We market to our prospect database via mass blast and nurture. We email cold or purchased lists in a separate system (ClickBack) to save our deliverability stats. We send some emails based on product usage or sign up steps.
Marketo is probably the best in it's class in B2B if your database is of any significant size - 100k or more, I think.
