- Marketo Sales Insight
Overall Satisfaction with Marketo
Used to track marketing content engagement from potential prospects and customers. Marketing team definitely has other uses for it, but for sales we use it to identify ideal times to reach out to prospective customers.
Pros
- All of the strengths of Marketo seem to be from the Marketing perspective. I don't have many to add from a Sales perspective as I have not enjoyed using Marketo thus far.
Cons
- Very difficult to actually see what my prospects are doing in terms of engagement with content. The codes do not make sense and there is not an easy way to view activity in one place.
- The designations are often incorrect - meaning they'll identify a prospect as a best bet or a fire emoji, while the prospect has just 'unsubscribed' from content.
- Have not found a good view to search legacy data - only in the previous 14 days.
- Prospecting / New Business
Identify prime times and prime targets for generating new business opportunities.
