Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We are no longer using Marketo because they failed to integrate the platform with our Microsoft Dynamics CRM (our primary need). Over the past several years, we have had numerous Marketo reps assigned to our account, making continuity and solutions to our issues very difficult.

Pros and Cons

Invoice for services not rendered.
Strong arm sales tactics to get you to sign on the dotted line.

Customer service. Oblivious management and lack of engagement from them.
Telling the truth so consumers can make informed decision, keeping promises made.
Microsoft Dynamics integration is non-existent.

HubSpot

While more expensive than HubSpot, we hoped that Marketo would allow us to build more in the future. We, unfortunately, didn't account for the present.

They obviously are well suited to presenting a pretty storefront. They got us to purchase it and Adobe to purchase them. If you use Microsoft Dynamics CRM, I would run to the hills rather than purchasing using Marketo. We spent a considerable amount of time and internal energy to work with Marketo, but their personnel turnover and lack of understanding MSD made this project a disaster

Run to the hills, avoid at all costs.
