We use Mx for all of our production records, both for actual manufacturing items as well as for our APS. Manufacturing Excellence helps us avoid the use of paper and enables a streamlined method for revising our Master templates and production records where necessary

Cons

Better communication on new features and best practices for implementing
Automatic notification to our QA review team when manufacturing is completed their review and approval
Requirement around resign off if changes are made after approval. For example if notes are added

Batch record entries are captured electronically. Can pull data from the system

Usability

The system is pretty easy to use from a end user standpoint. Data entry marking steps complete performing corrections is relatively straightforward and requires minimal training for new manufacturing users

Alternatives Considered

Ease of use is probably the main reason the system is selected in addition to just having an electronic system to avoid paper. It is pretty simple to create usable, compliant Master templates
