Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We have two sites in Europe using MasterControl Manufacturing Excellence module (only production record at the moment). The QC team is currently the only team using production record for their testing activities. The manufacturing is currently creating their mastertemplate. The digitalisation and no paper is a big progress for our company. From a user perspective we are happy with the module however regarding the validation of MT we still would want some improvements

Pros and Cons

Pros

Production records module : easy for a builder to create a MT
Production records module: review by exception allows reviewer to gain a lot of time
Production records module: easy to use a tablet in the lab and easy to fill by the users

Cons

Corrections reasons : not possible to edit corrections reasons in all environments. If corrections reasons are not identical it is not possible to export import the master template
QR code for date Field
Infocard PR visible on executed production record

Return on Investment

Reduce use of paper
Digitalisation increased visibility to other sites
Validation still required a lot of manual check (master template)

Usability

Easy to use , makes life easier but still time consuming regarding validation

Alternatives Considered

Logbook: eliminate paper, full digitalization and integration with production records module
Exam generator: this module will help the company with idea for questions and will reduce the time to create exams
Document translator: since Telix is a global company with entities in Europe , USA and Australia , the tool will allow the company to have the exact same documentation for all regions

Likelihood to Recommend

The production record module is well configured . It is easy for user to create and fill production record once launched. A lot of future features will be integrated and make life easier to users. The real struggle is regarding the validation if correction reasons are not configured exactly the same in all MC , the export import option is than impossible
