Overall Satisfaction with MasterControl Quality Excellence

Documents, Training, CAPA, NONCS, COMPLAINTS, MOCS. We use MC os our eQMS hub to manage our change control, quality events and training.

Pros

  • Documented change control
  • Documented quality process
  • Daily reports

Cons

  • Reports are difficult to use and not intuitive
  • Columns on search results always need adjusting
  • No general description for public reports. What is input?
  • Slows down process since many reports need to be run to get the data we need. AIs for Capas, training matrix, periodic review metrics, all metics
  • Vault rights assisted with gap in batch record compliance
It is not intuitive for A user with little experience. Given training, usability would improve. Definitely going to utilize MasterControl Academy. I don't know why our account rep did not highlight this to us.
It seems to have greater functionality however training and understanding how to work in it is key.

We have had MC since 2016 however turnover has caused us not to be up to date with best practices. If we were up to date I believe it would be very effective and adopted
