Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use MasterControl Quality Excellence for control of all our documentation. It allows us to lock down on when documents can be changed and by whom, which is very helpful. It then shows us analytics on all our processes that are in the system. MasterControl also allows for training control and tracking.

Usability

Once you've spent enough time in the system, it makes a lot of sense and is easy to navigate. It's also easy to make the product what your business needs it to be. However, at first start with the system it can be confusing to navigate. So many of the pages and steps looo the same, so for new users it's hard to figure out where in a certain process they are.

MasterControl is very good for document control and change management. It allows for custom workflows and processes to be setup. Every company has different needs in their document control and MasterControl allows for that customization. It's very good for training and tracking user training status. One of the best parts of MasterControl is the data analytics that comes standard.
