There is a general appeal to the look of MasterControl Quality Excellence and it is overall functional. Once you dive in things can get a little complicated, especially with search functions. It is not clear to the average user when to use the global search bar or when to use a module specific search tool. The document module has full functionality in terms of housing documents, provisioning access, and revision capabilities. Users will quickly become comfortable using this part of MasterControl Quality Excellence. The Training module is very basic and does not allow robust curriculum or dynamic training pathways. It is sometimes a challenge for system admins to view audit trail details as well. The reports in the system can be limiting, especially when tailoring specific info for users.
