Overall Satisfaction with MasterControl Quality Excellence

MasterControl Quality Excellence is our eQMS software used for document and training management, quality event management, change management, audit management, and supplier quality management. All employees in our organization have some level of interaction with MasterControl Quality Excellence for the conduct of their day-to-day responsibilities.

Pros

  • AQEM is a great fit-for-purpose workflow management tool
  • Insights provides real-time data analytics
  • The direction MasterControl Quality Excellence is taking their AI implementation is highly promising

Cons

  • Training requirement management
  • Mastercontrol Academy
  • JReports
  • Better QMS compliance
  • Improved quality event management
  • Ability to scale with industry demand and growth
Basic users don’t find it very intuitive so extensive training or documentation is required to bridge that gap.
MasterControl Quality Excellence is twice the cost, but the implementation of AQEM makes it fit-for-purpose.

MasterControl Quality Excellence meets all the needs for any mid-to-large scale FDA-regulated organization. it may be a little overkill for non-FDA regulated, or smaller companies, though the introduction of AQEM will help it be more flexible to meet those needs as well.
