We use it to release new documents, including training guides and processes for our products, and company policies. This allows everyone to stay up to date with changes within the company and make sure they meet our standards. Some of the problems this addresses are gaps in training, learning new areas, transitioning to new roles, and laying the foundation for learning.

Usability

Again, it would be nice to have documents sorted by section/cell, so when you train in real time, you can just sign off on that section. Finding documents can be sort of difficult as well for newer users- maybe a master control doc on how to use master control?

When learning a new position, it is helpful to have all the documents needed; however, they’re not organized and can be released in huge lists, making learning confusing. Also, sometimes the wrong roles get assigned, and then we have a bunch that we aren’t supposed to have. But overall, it is easy to use.
