Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint
It's our threat protection tool. What's hopefully keeping us safe during the day.
Pros
- It generates enough alerts and lets us know what's going on. It's any malware incidents, it's quick and prompt to alert us, be able to isolate. It's a good tool.
Cons
- It's a little noisy. It can get alert heavy, but I guess it's doing its job, so I don't know if that's much of a complaint.
- Well, cybersecurity is our key business objective, so it really helps in that. The benefits of that are great.
- Other
Well, our decision to go with Defender for Endpoint was mostly on our decision to go company-wide on the M 365, E five. So all the things that came without a license really aided in our decision to go with Defender for Endpoint.
We're feeding our Defender endpoint into Sentinel. I mean, whatever's available, we try to use it.
7000. Phones, everything.
Previously? The company was on Sophos for a number of years. I got that off. I was never a big fan of that. I've used that one. Many different companies.
