Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Defender XDR

To protect our systems from threats, we utilize Microsoft Defender throughout all our computers, emails, and network. It is enables us to find the problems quickly, provide automated fixes, and thus, maintain the security of everything we work on. Its collaboration with other Microsoft tools enables us to protect our systems more effortlessly and in a better way.

Pros

  • Detects and Connects Threats
  • Stops Threats Automatically
  • Finds Hidden Threats

Cons

  • Difficult to Set Up
  • Too Many Alerts
  • Limited Compatibility with Other Security Tools
  • Fewer Security Problems
  • Better Security Oversight
  • Reduces Extra Costs
Before using Microsoft Defender XDR, our security team had trouble spotting threats fast, juggling multiple security tools that did not work well together, and dealing with too many unnecessary alerts, which made responding to real threats harder. now it is great for us as it has solved our so many problems that i really like it.
Indeed, our automated response is based on Microsoft Defender XDR and it works by stopping threats and diminishing manual work speedily. Of course, we have made some changes to the settings in order to avoid it blocking the events which should not be blocked wrongly. Now it works well with us.
We do integrate Microsoft Defender XDR with Microsoft Sentinel in order to monitor and analyze threats in one place. It is simple to set up within Microsoft system which make it better, but we had to be meticulous when adjusting the settings to save costs and low alerts that were unnecessary.

Microsoft Defender XDR is known for discovering fishing emails, putting a stop to ransomware, and detecting piracy across the company’s devices. It is highly recommended for those businesses dealing with the major Microsoft products; however, with a variety of third-party security tools and Windows, Mac, and Linux combinations would be the most difficult to adjust for.
