I use Microsoft Powerpoint for presentation Slides for internal and external audience.
Pros
- provides useful, modifiable template Slides
- integrated with chatgpt, so slide templates can be downloaded from prompts
- easy to use, more design layouts are available with stock image suggestions
Cons
- hard to generate elegant data visualizations when database is extensive
- difficult to edit infographics like tables and maps because of limited control panel of design tools
- Slides can glitch during presentations, requires exiting presentation mode.
- Slides are hard to navigate while using Zoom app simultaneously.
- Microsoft Powerpoint Slides can easily look polished with the available template library
- Easy to save multiple versions of Slides, reliably creates presentation files that are shareable between multiple users. No file corruption at all for many years of use.
Microsoft Powerpoint looks more polished than Google Slides, which can get glitchy and have formatting errors.
