Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Security Copilot

Since this is helping the developers with the right quality of code, it's increasing the productivity of these systems.

Pros

  • I think it is in a portion to help the developers identify the right best practices and also creates consistency among all other developers.

Cons

  • I think this product can do much better in terms of static code analysis. I don't think it has the full bit of knowledge on various languages. If the product can improve on SaaS and also help with threat modeling, that should be a great addition.
  • Even though I can't speak on a quantitative basis, but qualitatively it has improved the quality of the code and also helps the good security posture.
I think it is very easy to use and well appreciated by the engineering team.
I think we have other products that we have evaluated. Since it's confidential, I can't share it. One is brand for Microsoft and the second is ease of use.

I think this suits for large organizations and where you need to increase your productivity and reduce the number of developers. I think this is a next gen AI tool.
