Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Stream

Microsoft Steam is used to playback meetings with clients. Microsoft Stream helps our business to capture key items that have been discussed during sales meetings. the software summarise and records notes from the meeting transcript. this invaluable in helping to ensure key items are not missed when assessing the value that our products can bring to our clients

Pros

  • Records Meetings
  • Transcribes voice to text
  • Summarise discussed audio into concise notes

Cons

  • Notes summarised could be more accurate
  • Transcript could be more accurate with regional accents
  • Sharing recordings could be slicker from Stream
  • Helps to solve disputes with clients on what was said in meetings
  • Allows quick review of meetings without spending 2hrs re watching
  • Sharing of notes helps collaboration internally
Its integration into the Teams stack allows for ease of use without having to leave the application to access it elsewhere. Its interface is intuitive and easy to use.

Sharing could be better.

Transcripts and notes are very good
  • Consensus
Consensus is better for lead generation and sharing marketing content; however, Stream is most appropriate for capturing meeting recordings when using teams. its integration flawlessly allows for such a slick process that using an external solution wouldn't.

Do you think Microsoft Stream delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Microsoft Stream's feature set?

Yes

Did Microsoft Stream live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Microsoft Stream go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Microsoft Stream again?

Yes

Stream is good for recording and capturing discussion from meetings. I would say that it isnt appropriate where there is lots of detail and lots of varying topics discussed as the summarising tool can in these instances be too broad.

It is really good where meetings have been left or missed; as the notes and transcript allow for easy catchup
