Overall Satisfaction with Mimecast Awareness Training

We use this to inform staff of cyber security issues and what measures they can take to prevent breaches that would impact the organization or themselves personally. We also use it to test their ability to identify phishing by regularly sending phishing simulations and tracking users with difficulty spotting phishing indicators.

  • Directory synching is unintuitive.
  • Unable to customize the phishing simulation URL.
  • Limited options to change the sender address for phishing simulations.
  • Recognition of IT security policy.
  • Staff understanding of cyber security risks.
  • Ability to identify weak performers who need more support.
We do not use Mimecast Email Security Cloud Gateway.
The humorous aspect of these videos creates much greater engagement with staff than the drier fact-only approach. We regularly get feedback from staff that they look forward to new videos being released because of the funny content.
We selected Mimecast Awareness Training mainly for the humorous awareness training videos. The non-humorous videos on other platforms got much fewer views and penetration with our staff.
