Overall Satisfaction with Motive

We use motive as our Electronic Logging Device service. It’s an easy platform to use and navigate. It provided electronic driver vehicle inspection reports for both the truck and the trailers. The downside is that a driver has very little editing power through this device with it being connected to a truck.

In my experience, it is a royal pain in the rear end to try to cancel with this Electronic Logging Device company. Make sure you know the business and that you intend to operate long term. Negotiate the length of the term of the contract, if you sign one.
I’ve not use them for this purpose.
The device and platform worked pretty much everywhere I needed it to work.
I haven’t used Motives competition.

This Electronic Logging Device platform is best used in all to medium sized companies or businesses. Independent companies and owner operators will find the services useful. Do not just accept their provided pricing. You will be better off if you utilize your abilities to negotiate and challenge their pricing schedule.
