Overall Satisfaction with .NET

We use .Net as our primary development platform to create solutions for our customers.
  • Provide great solutions to solve software needs
  • It has a large community of developers
  • Is supported by Microsoft, a great and reliable company
  • It has extensive documentation and content over the internet
  • We think that it would be better to have another cross platform's initiatives, besides Xamarin.
  • Positive: Provides the ability to quickly develop and deploy solutions
  • Positive: Easy to maintain - there is a lot of samples, documentation, and use cases over the internet.
  • Positive: The number of capable developers increase each day
.Net platform is our primary option for developing newer solutions because of a lot of reasons, but in the past years, we have received a few requests in which we had to use Java SE. We had no big problem to use Java. Still, the productivity difference and the offer of documentation and skilled employes was the key decision to maintain our focus using .Net.
As Microsoft Gold Partners, we do have access to a lot of additional information and support from Microsoft. Still, the availability of "open and free" documentation, community, and enthusiasts of the platform is vast. Added to that, the quality of resources provided for all the Microsoft ecosystem is very impressive.

  • Great to develop powerful and easily maintainable web solutions, by using ASP.Net frameworks;
  • Great to develop pluggable solutions, by using the power of reflection, JScript and runtime compilers;
  • Using C#, our primary choice for developing language, our work is easy to maintain and understand;
  • There is a vast number of components, most of them from open-source initiatives, that provides excellent extensions to the base libraries;
