Overall Satisfaction with Network for Good

As a nonprofit whose mission is to create a healthy ocean for future generations, our focus is not on the day-to-day administrative chores that so often weigh down nonprofits. Network for Good has given us many fantastic tools, from donor tracking to peer-to-peer fundraising pages, and reports that have helped us scale up our organization with ever-increasing public support. Network for Good is used by those of us who work in development, and we provide reports to the rest of our team as requested.

Cons

  • Report generation could be more user-friendly and simplified. More sample templates?
  • Improved notifications--set up easy alerts for key donors
  • It would be great to have a personal relationship. I can email Network for Good but do not have an account exec, per se, to call with questions.
  • Donor tracking
  • Peer-to-peer fundraising
  • Reporting for board of directors, quarterly reports
  • Annual reports
  • We have increased our donor base
  • We now have ease of looking up our stand-out donors, and a good way of communicating with them, including video!
  • The cost was a stretch earlier in our relationship, but not so now.

As we have grown as an organization, Network for Good has suited us well. We are now large in influence, yet still small in staff, but I would guess that Network for Good would work just as well at scale for a much larger organization. We will not hesitate to stay with Network for Good as we continue to grow. I wonder if Network For Good would be suitable for a very small organization, but that said, it helped and helps us grow every day, so in my opinion, it is a useful tool at all levels.
