Overall Satisfaction with Opensend

We use Opensend to identify unknown visitors to our sites and collect their email addresses. This allows us to contact more visitors with a customized and personalized message to try to win their business. It's been especially helpful for our browse, cart, and checkout abandonment flows. It's also been a great way to grow our contact list with warm leads.

Pros

  • Implementation was incredibly easy, and their team did most of the work for us.
  • Team is very communicative and always willing to jump on a call to help with questions.
  • The team is also very knowledgeable and listens to my concerns while offering great suggestions.
  • The team is not overly pushy to add additional features.

Cons

  • I wish they had the ability to qualify the email leads for us.
  • We have seen a decent lift in revenue for our Abandonment Flows for 2/3 brands.
  • For the third brand, it's been less productive so far, but it's still a bit early.
Opensend is really easy to use, the implementation is easy, and the Opensend team does most of the work. They even duplicated our existing flows and set the correct filters so we wouldn't overemail the same people. Their dashboard is easy to read and find the information we need to make decisions, and they integrate seamlessly with Klaviyo.
I've used one other similar company before, and the only thing they had over Opensend was the ability to qualify the emails for us, which helped us retain our sending reputation in Klaviyo. They sent the first qualifying email from their domain (with our copy and branding), and then only passed emails that engaged with that email to Klaviyo for us. This was helpful, but not entirely necessary.

Opensend is great for businesses trying to build their contact list and gain a little extra revenue. It's great for small teams that aren't looking to take on a huge project to get a new service up and running, but want a great partner to help them get things going, and will be a helpful partner going forward.
