Overall Satisfaction with OpenText eDOCS

OpenText is primarily used for software management in our company. More specifically used to maintain legacy applications used in our organization as we transition.

Pros

  • Good handling of customer service
  • Easy to manage your account payments
  • very strong community support (blogs) with plenty of useful info

Cons

  • Their learning services could improve
  • The cloud management isn't the best in the market
  • Customer service
  • Helpful support team
  • Easy to manage accounts
  • Lowered our maintenance activities on eDocs
  • Document management turnaround time was reduced
  • Takes less effort to publish
We used other software tools for management and found them to be somewhat similar to OpenText but the customer service provided by them is what made us go with them
