Overall Satisfaction with Optimizely B2B Commerce Cloud (formerly Episerver B2B Commerce Cloud)
After replacing the "home-grown" website, it is used across the entire organization. The problem it addresses is compliance with PCI. The old system did not know how to authorize credit cards in CenPOS or make API calls to Avatax. These were major issues that needed addressing. We now have accurate sales tax and credit card authorizations.
- It is a current-looking site.
- The integration with SX.e is pretty tight.
- It calculates shipping charges.
- It deployed with a major bug in Guest checkout. It is now fixed, but we lost a lot of business because of it.
- The pricing API is not working.
- Support for multi-warehouse product availability would be helpful. If we have the product in stock in any warehouse, we should be able to book the order.
- It took a year to deploy this product.
- Not everything worked out of the box.
- We are too early in the deployment to gauge effectiveness.
We only considered products that had tight integration with SX.e. Storefront is long in the tooth. Rhythm was too new to consider seriously.
